Comments about Firstgear Heated Rider Gloves:
After a year of using the Firstgear heated glove liners I decided to buy these mainly because the liner wasn't warm enough sometimes and the hassle of having two pairs of gloves that I have to take off and put on seperately. These gloves slip right on, stay toasty warm, don't negatively effect the operation of the controls, and are waterproof. The squigy on the thumb helps out a lot too when it's raining. I've riden in 10 degree F and raining and my hands stayed toasty warm with these gloves.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Great winter and rain gloves
from Washington State
I ride year-around in Western, Wa with 44 miles a day. The coldest you can expect would be 25 degrees. These gloves without a heat troller are great down to 45 degrees but my fingertips start hurting from the cold past that without a heat troller. With a heat troller (first gear), i was warm and comfortable to 26. It hasnt gotten colder yet and there is room on the dial.Pro summary: warm, grippy, comfortable.Con summary: gauntlet flare is a bit narrow so bulky jackets are a snug fit.
Worth the investment
from Fredericksburg VA
I like to ride as long as the roads are iced, but my hands would be frozen when I stopped. These were the perfect solution for me, they work great and really get hot when turned up all the way.

3 winters and they are still great!
from El Paso, TX
I've had these First Gear electric gloves for 3 seasons now. This is an update for those of you who might be hesitant to purchase. These gloves have been through rain and snow and all other forms of precip in between. The only thing I have a problem with are the electrical cords from the Heatroller to the gloves. I would like to see a coiled cord like a phone, that would stretch and rebound. But otherwise these gloves have been really great. I still would like to see bigger gauntlets, and recoil cords as mentioned above but they keeps your hands warm and that's what I bought them for.
