Comments about Icon Overlord Short Motorcycle Gloves:
I was dissapointed with these gloves because the first time i took them off, the stitching tore. Within 3 days the gloves were completely coming apart in the fingers. The rest of the glove is great! Very dissapointed with this quality control from Icon. Love my Icon Jacket
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I ride 10k- 12k mi per year and I'm into my 3rd year with these gloves. By far the best gloves I've ever worn. Living in coastal SC means extreme heat and humidity and the gloves are cooler than most of the thin "summer" stuff I've tried over the years. I paid $140 for mine, with the price drop to under $100 thinking about picking up another pair for when my current pair finally wear out.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
best gloves I've used for touring

As a long-distance (@3-7k mile rides) touring cyclist who rides a big H-D Road Glide, I have tried expensive H-D gloves in every shape and size, have used deerskin, mechanic's gloves, motocross gloves, all in a vain search for the best, most comfortable "überglove". I picked these up before my last trip to Washington D.C. ( I live in South Florida) and these expensive, funky-looking Icon gloves have been far and away the best I have owned. It's made with Kangaroo leather in the palm, and it's very soft and supple. I will use this glove on my ride to California this coming September. Quality is excellent and it's cool on hot days (I have the white one.)
