Comments about Zan Headgear Balaclava Nylon:
I got these to help keep me a bit warmer in the cold riding days. It does help keep you warmer and is good down to the 30 degree range. any colder and I'd recommend something thicker and longer. The only mentionable fault in this balaclava is where they put the stiching. It's right down the front. They should have done it around the side or made it one piece. It puts pressure on the forhead where the helmet rests. his creates a tender spot after a while of riding.
Service and delivery comments:
Good prices and good selection.

Well made piece, espsecailly at this price. As others have said, it is thin so it is not for riding in 30 - 40 degrre weather. But it packs down very small, so you can carry it w/ you all of the time and be prepared for any cold snaps that should arise during your trip.

If you have ever had your face feel freezing cold while riding, then you need one of these. This Balaclava is a great item to have under my helmet when i am riding through the cold. I wear this under my full face helmet to keep the cool draft down. This combined with my one piece rain suit make me unstoppable to coldness when riding.
Good for cool not cold weather

Zan Headgear Balaclava Nylon I purchased was inexpensive and has been fairly useful for me. I do not do long rides (mostly in town) so it gets the job done for me. However, the one size fits most is true for me. I guess my big dome is on the outer limits of the "most" so it's pretty tight on me. But on short trips it work fine but I would probably not use it if I were on my bike more than 1 hour at a time. Also, the Nylon just cuts some of the cold wind down, so if I were planning on longer trips or if the temp gets below 35 I'd go with a thicker Balaclava. But if the weather is above 35 and you want something to cut some of the elements, as long as you heads not too big I would recommend it. It was very inexpensive and easy to put into my pocket when not wearing it.
