The Pista GP Helmet is an innovative outcome derived from the AGV Standards Project. AGV Standards and the PistaGP were created in 2009 with Valentino Rossi as the leading rider for it's development and testing. Three years after the project began, out comes the PistaGP, ready to get on the track with Valentino. First, the correct fit of the PistaGP is obtained with the new Reverse Engineering process. Designing around the head means beginning to conceive the helmet starting with the structures in contact with the head. The padding has a 3D concave structure that is pre-shaped according to the morphological characteristics of the head, while the surfaces in direct contact with the head are free from stitching, which has been appropriately moved. Comfort is ensured. The field of vision is 15° wider and the total area of the visor window is 9% larger than the previous helmet, without compromising it's level of protection. G-force transmitted to the head is less than 36%, the Pista GP reduces the residual impact force as compared to the 275 G limit set by ECE regulations.
