Perfect, and for the price, even better!

Comments about GMAX GM54S Derk Modular Motorcycle Helmet:
I've had this helmet for about 3 months now, and am more impressed every time I ride with it. I wear glasses, and the built in sliding sun screen is awesome. Up or down in a second let's me ride in and out of the shadows and still be able to see perfectly. I heartily recommend this helmet.

this is my every day helmet now. finally found one that fits well. with prescription glasses i don't need to take them off and no need for a second pair of sun glasses, and the fact you don't have to close the clear shield to use the shade. is the quietest helmet i have had so far. can almost here the head phones at hiway speeds (half deaf) only wish it came further down the back of my head(cold neck)
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
New helmet works great

Quietest helmet I own (I own 5)and the most comfortable. the under chin flap really helps. flip down shades work well over my glasses. Just needs intermediate detents for the visor, to raise it partially. great helmet buy it. OH, and the brake light! what other helmet has a brake light!?
Great all rounder

I would give this one a good review even it if had cost me more money. I have a few helmets of different types (Shoei, Scorpion, KBC) and when my Nolan NCom-102 got too old I wanted another modular as my general purpose helmet. When Bike Bandit offered a one day deal on Mr. Derk, I said WTH. I couldn't believe the features and fit and finish. It looks good and the venting works fairly well. I hooked up my Sena communications module with speakers and it attached to the side of the helmet and the speakers went into the ear pockets perfectly. I like the way the internal visor slider works (top of the helmet). It can be moved partially up or down. Very cool. The chin bar could be a bit sturdier though. At least it just seems like I wouldn't trust the chin bar too much in a crash (who knows?). Overall, I am very pleased with this helmet.
