Comments about HJC IS-MAX BT Metallic Modular Helmet:

I require a helmet with an oval fit. This helmet is perfect, I dson't get the usual pressure points over the brow or point of the crown. I received this helmet and immediately took off on a 2.5 hour run. Fit is perfect as per the size chart. This helmet has slightly more noise than a solid full face, but very bearable. The sun visor is very convenient when driving between bright sunny areas and shade. I went from bright sun to driving rain on this ride. The helmet performed beautifully, but I'm not planning to test the crash survivability of this helmet.

Comments about HJC IS-MAX BT Metallic Modular Helmet:

I have been riding with an HJC helmet for the last five years and it was time for a replacement. I had always used a full face helmet on my street bikes and also wear glasses so putting my helmet on has always been a pain. With this new helmet that problem is gone. This modular helmet makes it a snap to put on with my glasses on. HJC has made a large inprovment in the inlet holes for the top of the helmet and has a much greater air flow than my old one. As usual with HJC helmets this one is a little tight now but will be just right after a little time to bring in. I really like the built in sun shade because I don't have to fool with sun glasses now. You have to be careful when you first lower it because it will come low enough to hit your nose. I know, I did it. After becoming familar with the shield it is easy now. Again overall this is a great helmet.

Comments about HJC IS-MAX BT Metallic Modular Helmet:

I have an HJC IS 33 open face helmet that fits fine in XL but the IS Max XL was too snug so I ended up having to return the helmet. I'm going to order a XXL but it will save you time if you try one out first.

Comfortable helmet.Noisy and cheap.I have big cheeks,it's hard for me to find a helment to fit, which this helment did fit good.Problem 1,helment is noisy, you would never be able use any kind of communications.2 I have to slam it really hard to get it to latch when it's on my head, twice it's unlatched. When open, the the sides are flimsey, hence my big cheeks come into play. Not really a defect, poor design,BBC won't take it back, told me to call HJC,we'll see
