This is a solid lid. I find the cheeks to be a little snug on me but I still like it. It fits tight on my interstate communte every morning and looks tough. The earlier review complained that he couldn't open the visor.. if you place your finger in the front vent it is VERY easy to get it open and it breaks in very well anyway. I feel sure the reviewer has put very few miles in that bucket when leaving a review. It is solid, comfortable, black, vents well.. Only 1 real complaint I have with it is the bases. The set that came on mine were faulty and a pain to widdle out with a pocket knife on the roadside leaving the store but worked after that. I did drop the helmet with the visor up tho and did break one. I guess thats understandable and a cheap fix. ~$10 I think. I'd recommend this to anybody. It's very comfortable and a quality helmet at a value price.

This is a great helmet. Really quiet and comfortable. The smoked visor is great and doesn't limit your vision. The only complaint that I have, and it really shounldn't be a complaint because it is good for me, there is a locking thing for the visor and it is very hard to get the visor up when riding.I totally see the point and it will really protect me if I crash, but I just want to get this thing up when I am stopped at a light.
