Comments about Nolan N90 N-Com Solid Modular Motorcycle Helmet:

Fantastic. 12 years riding experience here and this is my first flip up face helmet. Great for getting gas without removing it, talking with friends, and makes it easy to put on and take off while the face is up. The fog shield is a requirement below 50, but I don't even notice it is there so I will leave it in always. The helmet is quieter than my last, vents are perfect, the chin guard for cold weather is fantastic, and the flip down sun shade is wonderful.

Note, you will need a metal helmet T adapter if you want to lock this to your bike. The quick disconnect chin strap is fast and easy, but doesn't have the metal rings needed for most helmet locks.

Comments about Nolan N90 N-Com Solid Modular Motorcycle Helmet:

I've had this helmet for a couple years now and have no real complaints. As flip-ups go it's been great, though the next helmet I buy will most likely be a full-face non-flip. It's super comfortable and have done 12+ hour jaunts on the bike with this helmet and never been bothered by it. The inner lining is detachable for washing. It can be hooked up to headgear (which I've never done), and I've ridden with it in all conditions (rain/snow/sun) and it's been good for all of them. There is also a block on the chin to keep the air from drafting up the into the helmet.. The things aerodynamic enough as well since I also ride without a windshield.

Thank you for your question. Yes You can ride with the helmet up. There will be some wind resistence trying to move your head. You may have trouble hearing the comminication system in the helmet. I have even seen several riders wearing the Nolan Helmet up on the freeways before, That may be a comfortable way to ride.
