Comments about Scorpion EXO R2000 Dispatch Helmet:
Still think it's a pretty good helmet based on my previous review, but wanted to make sure everyone knew just how horrible the cleaning process is. I had clean the pads and to get them out was a nightmare and just as annoying putting them back in. My scorpion exo 1000 and hjc were easy, this was the worst I've ever seen. And don't dare putting them in the wash, I broke one of the things that holds the buttons to clip the pads into the helmet. Very disappointed in scorpion now, hope they go back to the normal padding when they make next year's.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I bought this helmet because I wanted a black helmet with some pink, this was the perfect ratio of the colors. It's a bit louder of a ride then the exo 1000, and the dark shield is a bit difficult to ride with at night (unlike what some say), but I love the ability to customize the size of the helmet with the air pump. I'm always in between a small and medium, no one makes a size that fits me, this solves that problem!
Street review, track one later
Out of the box, found that the helmet bag was "NICE", I liked the locking strap and the way the logo was placed. Stupid to some but I liked it. Came with the clear visor mounted but also a dark smoke visor in it's own visor bag!! Weighs just barely over 3lbs, D-rings are titanium. From looking it over, the padding looked & felt of good quality, graphics matched up without any mismatched lines, extremely pleased cosmetically. I actually like the way the Dispatch in red looks. Went for a ride to meet with a friend..... cruising to the highway, the helmet felt eerily smooth, figured it was just slow speed (40mph). got onto the highway and was cruising at 70mph or so, I noticed immediately that the helmet was not buffeting around, even went next to a semi just to see, now the wind/vortex did pull slightly, but there was no known "buffeting". Visibility - With most helmets, I can see the top inside portion of the helmet, but with the R2000, I can "barely" see anything up there. I feel like I get full visibility.....Picked up a slightly more spirited pace with no traffic and sat straight up, well as vertical as I could being 5' 7". Still no buffeting and no pulling, I actually was able to relax my neck just to see where it would start pulling and I did not noticed anything. In short.... I was in disbelief!!One thing I did notice, weather was a little cool here and my head got cold, ventilation is great, you can actually feel the air going through the helmet without it hitting your eyes causing other issues. I adjusted the vents, and was easy to do even with gauntlet gloves on, the vents all had "SURE ACTION", meaning, there was no oops or uncertainty. Will be purchasing another one dedicated for the track so I don't ruin my street helmet..... Once a little warmer weather hits, I will take it to the track for a more at paced test and for visibility in the turns and at full tuck.
