The noise is extreme

Comments about Vega Phantom Convertible Helmet:
Like everyone else I agree this is pretty tight going on. Less so if you don't have the chin piece on. My only issue with this is an insane amount of wind noise. Starts as a whistel and builds up to a roar. It looks better in the picture than in person. Once you take off the chin piece you look a lot like a riot cop. I tried earbuds to reduce the noise and it over powered the buds like they weren't even there.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

The helmet is very comfortable to wear, and the larger visor is particularly beneficial. I ordered a large, based off my experience with other large helmets, and it fits quite well, but the collar is very narrow and is somewhat awkward and uncomfortable to pull down over my ears. Once on it's fine though. The vents aren't adjustable or closeable, so now that it's getting cooler, it's a bit chill, but the breathability of this helmet is fantastic. No fogging. I just wear a face mask, though again, when pulling the helmet down I have to readjust the mask.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

It is ok, price and quality
from Boca Raton, Florida
the fit is nice once you have it on, it is just tight over your ears as you put it on. Very light weight, that I like it. Very big viser, also is good. Quality is equal of pricing. I hope it will really protect if I need it, don't want to check, lol. I will use, just not really recommend to no one. Lol
what I have been looking for
By rob...yeah rob
this helmet looks really sick, somewhere between dogfight and future soilder. the fit is nice once you have it on, it is just tight over your ears as you put it on. the chin gaurd is easy to remove and has caps to clean up the look with it off. the built in tinted flipdown visor is really nice but has some minor issues with retracting. huge feild of vision more than any full face I have ever worn.
