Comments about Z1R Ace Transit Solid Open Face Helmet:
I have to admit that I was surprised that I'd like this helmet as much as I do. I have full face helmets but wanted a 3/4 for really hot days and slow lazy riding. I have Arai's and love the fit, but didn't want to spend big bucks on a helmet that will only occasionally be used. When I first put the Ace Transit on my head, I was amazed how well it fit. No pressure points, nice and snug (but comfortable), perfect. I installed a bluetooth unit and used it all weekend riding two up. I wasn't even looking for a front shield (again, I expected to use it at slow speeds on hot days), but found that it was so convenient. I'd flip it down above 30mph or so and back up when going slower. Sound is very quiet with the shield down, no weird noises or whistling. Really happy with this helmet!
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Bought some of these for use teaching MSF Basic Rider Courses. They have been well received by the students. Fit well, plenty of ventilation and great visibility. Best of all they don't break the bank. Many students have asked where they can buy there own.
