Comments about Thor Force Knee Guards:

I broke my tibia back in feb 2014 snowmobiling in the Mountains. These pads hug your legs and don't slip and slide like hockey shin pads. Love them. Never leave home without them. Won't chance another broken leg. Protection is a must.

Comments about Thor Force Knee Guards:

Great product. I use them at all times, both with my street ride and when I am off-road on the KLR 650. They fit under my off-road hard boots, and they are a perfect match with my TCX -xCube street boots. In cold weather they keep my legs warm enough that I rarely used my cold weather pants this spring (even in sleet), and now that it is warmer, they are not hot or uncomfortable.

On my sport bike, they have enough bend in the knee joint that they remain comfortable all day long (longest ride so far has been 8 hours), I don't even take them off for lunch. they are not heavy and they do not impact my balance or my stance when standing on the pegs while off-roading.

I feel like my knees and calves are well protected from impact, and since that is why I purchased the guards, I am 100% satisfied with them.

Comments about Thor Force Knee Guards:

I have been shopping for knee protection for about 3 months - it was time for me to stop taking more risk than needed.

I ride a KLR 650 and a 600 cc sport bike. I was looking for something that would give me protection against impact, primarily with pavement. As I began to spend more time on gravel and single track, I began to consider the higher risks of rocks, tree limbs, and finally, over rotation of my knees....

having looked at much simpler kinds of knee cups, I felt that they all would be prone to shifting when needed, and none of them had shin protection. I began looking at more complex models - the type with shin guards, and I felt that the fact that they tended to swing away from the top of my knee when bent (like on the sportbike) would potentially lead to getting pulled away from my knee cap in an impact.

Once I tried this model on, I was hooked. I love the attachment system - straps, clips (not 'hook/loop'), the guards just feel substanial, they feel like they will actually provide protection when needed. I went back to a store to try them on under my riding jeans (draggin') - and they fit ("mostly"), They really fit under my weather pants, and over top of my off-road gear. Besides, I will likely wear them in plain view of the world - I am proud to protect my body - their style and appearance is not over the top. I offered to buy them, but the store would not reduce their price to anywhere near what Bike Bandit was selling them for, so BB got my business.

Bike Bandit has again shown me that they earn your business, and that they'll go the extra mile to keep it.

        Thanks again BB!

Comments about Thor Force Knee Guards:

As a motocross racer who can't afford decent braces I thought these would be worth a try. After a year I found they were relativly comfortable, and protected well; however the sharp edges of the hinges have been destroing my pants and rad shrouds. Good idea but that one design flaw would make me not recommened them.
