Comments about Firstgear Thermo One-Piece Motorcycle Suit:
This keeps me warm in 10 degree weather at 80 MPH. Although I look like the Michelin man when wearing it, if you care more about warmth than style, this is the suit for you. I've never been cold when wearing it.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Excellent addition for cold weather

Demographics: I'm a 5'10" male. 125 lbs. (I ordered a Medium Medium suit). I live in Meridian, MS. Usually riding weather almost year round. I've owned this suit for three days. Took it for a 40min ride at speeds of 70mph. Riding a KLR 650 dualsport. Time of ride: after dark 6:20-7PM. Temperature: 37 degrees. Humidity 79%. (It's the south!) Winds 5-6mph from the west. In addition to this suit I was wearing a sweater, t-shirt, undergarments, jean pants, cotton socks, insulated side zipper combat style boots, balaclava over my head exposing eyes and nose, and some insulated riding gloves. Helmet is an HJC IS-MAX (Modular). Can I just say that I'm very impressed by the warmth of this riding suit! Not at any point did I have cold spots on my knees. The collar has a velcro strap at top of neck, it is high enough to ride just at the lower level of my helmet. PERFECT. Taking off/on took me a few minutes the first time, can be put on in about 1m30sec if it's already fully unzipped. No need to take off boots. The side zippers are all the way up to waist. Huge plus. Yes, you size 13 shoes guys can wear this (But get the right size of suit!) No complaints here. I'll be riding in 30 degree weather shortly, and am totally confident about this suit keeping me toasty warm. This suit just makes sense for practicality and cost.
Best rain/cold weather suits!!!!
I ride until the snow starts here in Ohio. The rain suit I had before was letting in more rain than it kept out. We have had a very wet fall this year and I have stayed drier than any previous year. I like the one piece but it is hard to get into. There could be a better design out there but for basic use, this was a good buy.
Best suit ever

Has kept me warm and dry four winters of rainy commuting and weekend rides. I can laugh at the rain when wearing this insulated suit. Good waterproof gloves and boots are a big plus.
