Comments about Firstgear Thermo One-Piece Motorcycle Suit:

For the price, this is a surprisingly high quality piece for the cold and/or damp riding I'll be doing this spring.

Warm, waterproof suit

By Enrgizerbunny

from Powhatan, VA

Comments about Firstgear Thermo One-Piece Motorcycle Suit:

I wear this when the temperature drops to 50 and especially if there's a chance of rain. I purchased secondhand off craigslist, size L. I'm 6'0" male 180 lbs and it's a little bulky on me. I wish there was a "medium-long" option for people who are tall and thin like me. I have plenty of room for layers in this thing though. I was disappointed to find (on my suit)that the pockets weren't waterproof. That's the only reason I gave it 4 stars, otherwise it would've been 5.

Pros: Warm, waterproof, easy in/out, keeps wind out

Cons: Pockets aren't waterproof, Need more sizes to fit different riders.

Comments about Firstgear Thermo One-Piece Motorcycle Suit:

My first one was hard to get into and out of. That is due more to my age and weight. I chose the same suit as last time more because it works than how easy it is for me to get in and out of.

    • Q:

I need information about sizing. I'm 5'10", 185 lbs, 30 inch normal inseam. I normally wear Large in T's and Polo's but XL in sweatshirts. My waist size is 35/36. For an over-garment suit like the Thermo One-Piece is Large adequate or do I need XL? Are leg and arm lengths longer on XL or is XL just for increased girth?

Thank you for your question. This one piece suit does not have a hoody. The one piece rain suits have removable hoodies, and are also insulated.
