Helmet, gloves, jacket, boots - the essential riding gear worn by every motorcycle operator who understands the game and the stakes associated. Too often riding specific pants are left out, and too often down riders must recover from rashed legs when they could have just walked away and began the Ebay search for a new tank and rear sets. The Compound pant is remarkably understated considering the added level of abrasion resistance offered by durable leather / textile construction with removable CE knee impact protectors. Designed to be used as an 'overpant' the Compound pant fits comfortably over your street denim. Dual full-length side zippers make the on/off process too easy to ignore. If you are running the streets in your mall bought jeans we suggest you up your game with the Compound.

Features
- ICON overpant fit pattern
- Durable leather and textile chassis
- Removable/adjustable CE knee impact protectors
- 2-Way side zipper
- Adjustable waist straps
- Ratchet waist closure
- Ribbed Flex Panels on Knees
- Zippered side pockets for secure storage

General Care
Icon pants are tough and designed to withstand a great deal of asphalt induced abuse, but no pant can survive every conceivable motorcycle accident. Should the unfortunate occur and you crash in your Icon pant thoroughly review the product for any signs of structural damage (major abrasion, holes, damaged seams, etc). Should there be any damage or if you are unsure if the damage is structural you should replace the pant. Most Icon textile pants use a coating on the shell material which reinforces the overall fabric matrix. Improper cleaning of the jacket could compromise the integrity of this coating leading to material failure. Avoid unneccessary exp

Comments about Icon Compound Over Pants:

These overpants are great. I like that they have zippers that you can unzip most of the pants legs. If you have stopped somewhere you can use these zippers to vent the heat from your legs. I do wish the zipper was on the inside of the legs rather than the outside. I would think that the zipper could fail upon hitting the ground. The only other complaint I have is with the plastic waist strap. It is weakly attached to the pant. If you put your pants on too tight on just one day, you will have to sew it back on.

Comments about Icon Compound Over Pants:

I use these pants for daily commuting and love them! They feel great on and manage to have the great protection of leather with the breath ability of textile and to too it off, you get to look casual and not like a rediculous power ranger. The oinky thing I don't like is that the included knee armour is a bit hard but I have upgraded to D30 and that is completely solved.

      Question about sizing...
I realize these are overpants and that is what I am looking for. I am 5', 7" and weigh about 140. Inseem is 29. As usual, I am in-between sizes on the chart, so I thought I would ask. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks.

Thanks for your question! We would suggest ordering the size up on the between sizes.
