Still a great pair of pants.
Comments about Tour Master Caliber Pants:
I purchased these to replace another pair of Caliber pants that lasted7 years of heavy use before the zzipper on one of you legs finally gave up the ghost and wouldn't stay zipped any longer. I guess it says a lot that with all of the choices out there, I went with the same pants to replace my old ones. These are designed to be over pants, so order the same size as the pants you normally wear. I find they are effective down to about 40 degrees F before needing the included liner, and with the liner in they are effective to sub-freezing ttemperatures.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Overall good deal

These are an all day affair. The fit is such that they do not go over jeans very well so you will have to comit to swishing around all day in the nylon. The pads, knee and hip, we're apparently molded for an adolescent as they bound up a little on my hips and were cutting into my knees. With my heat gun I was able to reform the plastic and open them up so now they are way comfy. Riding in Seattle I need to arrive dry. For work I have clothes at the plant that I change into and on weekends I just swish. It doesn't bother me. The little elastic loop that keeps the liner in place ripped but I'm handy with a needle and thread so it's fixed now too. I kind of wish I didn't have to modify a new item but until I can afford a tailored suit I will make do. All in all a good purchase.

I use these as an over garment so I bought them a size larger. Works out very well with added suspenders to keep them up.
Strong but not perfect

Good overall quality and construction, maybe too warm for hot weather, not water proof and could be a tad longer. I'm 6'2" 180lbs and have a med/tall but when seated seems like I could use more lenth. Rugged material and well padded.
