Comments about River Road Anvil Perforated Leather Motorcycle Jacket:
This is a great warm weather riding jacket. The liner should extend the range to include late Spring and early Fall but I haven't had it long enough for that yet. I always wanetd a nice leather jacket and this one fits the bill perfectly without costing a fortune. I've got a lighter full mesh jacket that I had been using for Summer use but I feel even safer in the leather jacket (although I hope to never find out just how much safer it really is). So far the jakcet has been comfortable riding in temperatures from around 60 to the low 80's. It is black leather though so I'm sure it will feel very warm once the tempurature and/or humidity get much higher. In fact, I'll probably fall back to the mesh jacket when it's really hot and sticky out as it's just so much lighter. This jacket does flow a great deal of air though so as long as you're moving, you've got built-in air conditioning. The sleave cuff zippers allow in even more air if you need it. Overall, I'm very pleased with this purchase. The leather seems to be very high quality. The jacket does run a little on the large side I know I checked the true-to-size in the "Fit" section because it's really not "too big". If you're between sizes or simply like a tighter fit, I would choose the smaller size. I normally wear a 44 dress jacket but went with the 42 here and it worked out perfectly. I've got a relatively small waist too (32) and the jacket adjusters take up the slack quite nicely. The 44 would probably have required much more bunching up at the waist.
