Comments about River Road Guardian Motorcycle Boots:
These are some of the least expensive motorcycle boots I've found. I was neither overwhelmed nor disappointed with this purchase given the price. I needed a good work boot the I could wear for 8 hours in 100 degree temps, around harsh chemicals. I didn't want to spend $150 for some "nice" boots that I knew would get destroyed in just a few months. These seem to fit the bill. I normally a size 9, and the fit was good, although the toe box was a little wide. The boot is fairly light, and the sole has a good amount of flex. This is a short ankle boot with no ankle protection. If you want more protection you'd have to opt for the taller version. There is some venting along the side of the boot, and a full mesh tongue. Surprisingly, the boot doesn't seem to get too hot, even with temps here in Texas around 105. The boot felt good to walk in on the 1st few days, but I've noticed some "dead" spots in the footbed. Inserts should correct this. On the bike the boots performed well, with good feel for the controls and nice firm footing when at stops. My only real complaints are a lack of Velcro or something to tuck the laces away, which are rather long. And, the tongue seems a little short. It doesn't quite meet the top of the shoe. An odd design flaw, but not a deal breaker. The toe box is firm, but there isn't any reinforcement. Still, it's a good sturdy boot for the price.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Try them you will like them
The boots seem to be made well for riding my motocycle. They seem to feel well and should be good for summer and fall riding. Can't say how well they will where but are made well and should hold up real good. The souls seem to grip well and should not slip when using your feet to move bike.I will be whereing them for long trips and will see if my feet sweat or not. I they don't tell how they will do in rain but when you ride that will be tested allso. A futher review might be coming when I have wore them for the summer.
