Comments about River Road Taos Cold Weather Leather Motorcycle Gloves:
very nice, just got them. I live in the Chicago area and the mornings this time of the year are in the 40's and 50's. Hands stay warm on the 35 minute ride to work with speeds up to 65 MPH. Not good on the ride home when the temp gets into the 70's, hands sweat. I make sure I have a light pair in my bag for the ride home. Good fit, they don't get hung up on the clutch or break like other gloves I have tried. Fit easily over coat and zip tight, no drafts. Haven't used them in wet weather yet.

These being my first pair of winter gloves I feel unqualified to offer an opinion. I live in North Florida and used them the other morning in humid 40 deg weather. My hands were still chilly and my finger tips got nippy, but after a 25 min ride I still had to blow on my hands to warm them. If I had used my regular gloves the ride would have been unbearable. I don't know if there are better gloves available but at this price I guess I'm satisfied.

I accidentally got a Large as opposed to a Medium. My summer time leather gloves that are large fit snugly, but i didn't take into consideration of the different materials. Other than that, I'm so satisfied.
