Comments about River Road Vise Leather Motorcycle Jacket:
I own a number of textile jackets, but took advantage of a decent sale price to take a chance on this leather one. My jackets in general tend to be mid-level quality, I don't buy the clearance rack junk from the fly-by-night cycle show vendors, but I'm also not going to spring for a Dainese jacket. So my comparisons for this are my Joe Rocket, Vega, etc. I ordered a 46 in this jacket after consulting the sales staff for some size info. I always wear a Large in every jacket, and about a 42-44 in my suit size. This jacket fits me fine at my 5'9 & 180 lbs. The leather feels substantial, the arms are not too long (a common problem for me), the insulation feels solid and the fit is comfortable while riding on the bike. It's not built for true winter weather riding here in the Northeast, but temps in the 50's and 60's would be fine. The jacket's neckline is low, so a neck guard or balaclava would help for cool weather riding.

Room around the waist for the "Chaps" belt and buckle. "Great" for the cold desert mornings and can take the liner out for the warmer afternoons!
Looks even better in person!

I am 6'1", 165lbs, average build. I measured a 40 but ordered a 42, not too snug but not too loose either. Looks great and fits great.
