I didnt have good luck w this item
Comments about Scala-Rider Scala Rider Q2 Pro Multiset Communication System:
I bought the scala riders to b able to stay in touch w my kids while we ride snowmobiles and to be able to take a phone call so everybody that needed to contact me to see if the kids were safe..They don't work very far apart. Maybe 200 yards or so. But by the end of the 1st day they were not working even standing next to each other. I thought maybe the batteries needed to b recharged. After we charged them we were unable to get them to work again. I was still able to make a phone call w the wire connected from scala rider to my iPhone. The bluetooth wasnt working very good either. My speakers didnt sound very good listening to music. And the wire going from my scala rider to my phone ended up going bad on the 3rd day of the trip . If they would of worked the entire time and did what they were supposed to do they would b great!!!
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

My wife and I plan to use the set for trip communication - passenger to driver on our BMW 1150RT. I tested it out of the box and everything works perfectly. Even connects to my iphone 4 with no hickups. I have not installed it in our helmets yet so cannot comment on that. There are alot of commands to remember. A small wallet sized card with the commands listed would be a nice feature.

I installed this system on my Scorpion EXO 700 helmets with the adhevise mounts. I really like this system for it's features aand value (especially when on sale) My friends liked what they saw and heard very much. So much, that they had me order a set for them and install the system in their helmets. So far, so good, time will tell.
Great head set
I have I stalled the sets into our scorpion helmets. You need to take your time to run the speaker wires under the padding. I bought a new iPod with blue tooth and it paired up easy. I left my iPod in the loving room and walked to the back bed room and cloud hear the music great. I still need to take these out on the road with the wife. I steel have to try out the phone. With phones getting so smart you can't go wrong with this set up. I was going to buy a radio for the bike but getting this on sale was better then buying a radio and no one has to hear your music at the stop light.
