    THE GOOD:
    Drop down shield is really nifty - Along with the design, this was the major attraction for me. It can be used for extra wind or sun protection, as well as for rain if you change out to the clear one.

    QUALITY IS SUPERB - Removable skirt has built in pockets for speakers and snaps that allow wiring to be concealed. Padding more than adequate. Strap has a snap to prevent loose end. Finish good. Helmet has a quality feel when you put it on.

    SHARP LOOKS - design is wicked looking. The silver S emblem is raised, and looks way cool.

    NOT SO GOOD:

    DESIGN - causes the helmet to touch the tips of your ears. Little aggravating, but you can tuck them inside the helmet.

    BOBBLE HEAD! - the design of the helmet causes the front to project way out in front of your face. At speeds above 60, even with a windshield, I get severe head bobble. Taking the plastic visor off helps some. If it were not for this issue it would get a 5-star rating from me. Can't say if it is generic to all bike set ups or just mine (Vulcan 1600)

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

    Definitely a good purchase

    Comments about Scorpion EXO 100 Spitfire Half Helmet:

    I bought a Scorpion helmet a little over a year ago. It's great!

    Not too hot in the summer (90 degrees), and still comfortable at 30 degrees. The retractable face shield is great - law requires eye protection. It's a helmet AND goggles. The only time I need goggles is w/o a windshield at highway speeds.

    My wife's speedo is on the gastank, and she's planning on buying one, because she won't have to move her head to look down. Visibility is superb.

    Besides, these are the least stupid-looking helmets I could find. :)

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

      Just received My helmets today. One fo me and one for my daughter. We took a 30 mile ride and the helmets were great they fit very good and were very comfortable. The drop down visor is really nice and very easy to use. If your looking for a half helmet for summer I would highly recommend this one.

            Measure the circumference of your head just above your ears with a measuring tape to achieve the most accurate results. The tape should be about one inch over the eyebrows and the ears.
