Comments about Shinko 011 Verge Radial Motorcycle Tire:

You can't beat the looks and/or performance of these tires for what you pay. Unless you are a professional rider who can tell the difference between these and OEM (if there is any) save yourself some $ and buy a pair of Shinko's.

Comments about Shinko 011 Verge Radial Motorcycle Tire:

Bikebandit.com: [...] price was right, [...]Shinko Verge Tire: I've got just over 100 miles on the tire. That inlcudes hot dry weather and downpours. The handling was great either way. I felt confident in cornering and braking hard. I ride approx. 500-600 miles a month. I'll be back with a more in depth review.

Comments about Shinko 011 Verge Radial Motorcycle Tire:

I'm on my second set of Shinko Verge tires. They outlasted Pilot Powers, Power 2CT and Bridgestone 016. I got longer life from Road 2's, but the sides wore on those way faster than the center and they handled weird for the last 1,000 miles. I've used the Verge tires on twisty canyon roads mostly, in wet and dry conditions and they work great. 5,000 rear, 6,000 front, ridden hard. The roads in my area are very abrasive, so tires wear quickly. I'm sticking with these tires; they are the only ones I've wanted to own again.

Comments about Shinko 011 Verge Radial Motorcycle Tire:

The verge 011 tires are great so far. Just wish they made them in a 100 or 110 front as the 120 is a bit too thick for my stock V-Max front wheel.

Sticky in dry or wet. Will update more after full run of tire.

Help me out here: are we to assume you have the tire mounted correctly? If so, then the grooves moving from inner tire patch to outer is correct. As the tire roles forward the first portion of the tire groove to contact water would be the inner portion. This allows accumulated water (immediately in front of the tire contact patch, when any tires meet water on the road surface) a place to get squeegeed into and channeled to the outer tire and away form the contact patch area of the tire. If the channels are reversed by improper tire mounting then the water would be collected and channeled TOWARDS the contact patch, aggravating the amount of accumulated water trying to pass between the tire contact patch and the road surface. This would bring hydroplaning onset much sooner. I sure hope that helps makes things clearer. Rubber side down!!
