More road than off road. This tire isn't as noisy as other brands after wearing awhile. Good durability so far. Have 705's on both front and rear, and traction and wear is similiar to dunlop dual purpose tires. Would, (Will!), buy again.

10K miles out of 1st set and 6K on second set and still going. Several 1K dual sport trips and 1200 miles on Hells Canyon of the Snake river ride a few weeks ago on the DR650. Camped 4 days on that trip, so had lots of gear. Did OK on the steep and rocky sections to Hat Point, as well as the sand, light mud and flash flood washouts down to the Snake River. Will order more of these as they are a great value. I do ride like a grandpa, so maybe that's why they last pretty well.

At about 2000 miles tire tread blocks started to seperate from the core of the tire both front and rear rear first then front running both at manufacturers psi, I ride a R100Gs and weigh 160 lbs

Since the tire is newly mounted, I can't review the specifics of the tire except to say that it was easy to mount and not a pain at all. Even if it doesn't go 10,000 miles like the Avon Distanzia it replaces, I can buy 2.5 of these for the price of one of those.

I will say that Bike Bandit got the order out fast and it's a nice touch that they box it up and support the tire inside as well rather than the usual slap a label on it and ship it unprotected like most other companies do. Good price too.

I would give this tire a look if you're not after spending the most money possible for a tire. Time will tell.
