The tread pattern and profile were specifically designed for the demands of drag racing. They are Aramid belted, DOT approved, and recommended for drag race use only. For a matching tread pattern, Shinko recommends combining the Hook-Up Drag Radials with the Shinko 003 Stealth front tire.

Awesome tire. I use this tire on my 2010 zx10r drag bike. I have over 100 passes at the drag strip and about 2000 street miles on it. Still has life left. Cold traction is not the best and if youre looking for a tire to last 10,000+ milesor looking to drag knee in corners, this tire is not for you. Now if you want the most traction as possible in a straight line on the street or drag strip and dont want to spend $300+ dollars, you will love this tire.
Great tire for the money

Seen other drag racers using this tire and figured after my Bridgestone got punctured by a key I would give this tire a shot. Even when the outside temp is almost freezing this tire still hooks up. Just be cautious that this tire has a very flat crown and I wouldn't recommend this tire to someone that wants to go out and drag a knee at the racetrack. Only put about 20 miles on it so far nice ride for casual riding as well but I don't believe that the tread would last long enough for everyday riding.
