great tire

Comments about Shinko SR550 Scooter Tire:

I bought 6 of these tires and mounted them on three of my Chinese Retro type scooters. Great tire for the money, that provides a nice crisp look. First time I have installed tires myself (with a friend's help), and the went on straight and quite easily. These tires seem to require no balancing, and run smoothly up to 50 MPH, which is as fast as my scoot will go. Great value at a great price.

"Stylin' Whites"

Comments about Shinko SR550 Scooter Tire:

These are absolutely the most serious, stylin' white wall scooter tires I've ever seen. They make my Chappy's look like they're breaking the speed limit every time we go out for a ride! Excellent tread design and nice quality!

  • Q:

I don't notice a a balancing dot on this tire. Do these tires come with a balancing dot or do they use a different indicator for the balancing dot, possibly a symbol?

      A:

Thanks for your question! Depending on the tire model or brand some with not have this balance dot on them. What you would then do in that case is mount the weights opposite of the valve stem to help balance the tire as best as possible. The photos on the website will not show the balance dot as this is the only photo of the tire we are presented with.
