    My third ST Cruz and only one I need. All around perfect helmet for me. Rain or shine, short rides or hundreds of miles. The deep bill works so well to block sun and rain, best I've seen.

      1) Can the Shoei St-Cruz Half Helmet have a sun shield face shield added with the Helmet Visor still in place? If so, what is a suggestion for an aftermarket dark sun shield either generic of Shoei? 2) How does the neck curtain detach? Velcro or Zipper?

        Thank you for your question. Yes the Shoei ST-Cruz helmet can have a shield installed while having the visor in place. Paulson makes a universal face shield, snaps on and off with 3 adjustable snap buttons. There is 2 styles to choose from 1. fixed shield or flat shield 2. flip visor with shield.         The neck curtain removes by zipper. The tinted shield visors can be purchased separately.
