Yep, all the hype is true. These are awesome batteries. I no longer need to remove the seat and old battery to check the water levels or connect a charger between rides.

The batteries really are:
Ultra light. One Fifth the weight of lead-acid batteries on average

Have Zero sulfation, for longer service life

Hold unloaded charge for one year without maintenance

Higher cranking for better starts

Super-fast recharge rate

No explosive gasses during charge, no lead, no acid

Environmentally friendly

    How good is this battery? As good or better or not as good as the other Hundred forty something one you sell? What kind of warranty is offered? How long can I really expect this to last. I see the other one , the red one, I forgot the name already, claims it had 275 cca, compared to the 210 for this one. Both of those numbers seem more than adequate. Which one will last longer? Please be honest about this.

      Thanks for the question. This has a 3-year prorated warranty. This battery and the Ballastic Compnents (The red one) battery are the same technology and will last the same amount of time under the same use. These batteries charge will last longer while not in use compared to the lead acid batteries. I have this brand on my bike now and have no troubles at all. It very light and very powerful.       Thank you for your question. There are so many advantages when comparing this to a conventional style battery. The manufacturers warranty is 2 year as opposed to one year. The battery is not prone to sulfation, conventional batteries sulfate if not charged and used. The Lifepo4 battery can go 1 year without charging and holds the unloaded charge, a conventional battery can do that for about a month. There are no real disadvantages of having this battery in your bike.
