May be the Ultimate Boot!
from Fairbanks, Alaska
This is the second pair of SIDI boots I have owned. I bought the first pair in 2003. They are a road boot with Gore-Tex. The model was discontinued years ago but the boots are still with me and still used each riding season. I see nothing to make me believe these Adventure Gore-Tex boots won't last at least as long. Quality is obvious throughout.I wanted them, I ordered them, I dreaded putting them on. They are tall boots with hard protection every where. I knew they had to be hard to put on and would be extremely stiff. Oh what a wonderful surprise they were. They went on very easily and did not need a break-in period. They are a tall boot so they aren't quite as comfortable as a pair of tennis shoes but I can easily wear them all day long whether I am on the bike or walking around. The pronounced heel helps you keep your feet on the pegs when the going gets rough. The lug sole provides good traction on any surface. They are waterproof but breath very well so your feet do not get hot. They are expensive but I imagine they will out last two or three pair of the cheaper boots. Bottom line, I can not imagine a better dual sport boot.
