Rode over 300 miles the first time out. No break in required. Used in 100+ temps, not too hot. Wore in hard rain, no leaks. Follow the limited care instructions, do not use a sealer. After 25,000 miles in about two years with all sorts of weather I would not wear anything else. I talked to the Sidi authorized cobbler, he said the soles were replacable and to use a boot black to cover the scufs. I wish Sidi would have been specific on that part.
