      THIS IS MY SECOND SKID LID HELMET. MY FIRST IS THE ONE I WEAR EVERY TIME I RIDE. I LIKED IT SO MUCH I BOUGHT THIS ONE FOR MY WIFE. I FEEL I HAVE ADEQUATE PROTECTION AND I CAN SEE AND HEAR ALL THAT GOES ON AROUND ME. MUCH LESS RESTRICTIVE THAN FULL FACE OR 3/4. HELEMTS THAT I HAVE WORN OVER THE YEARS.

          Comments about Skid Lid Traditional Half Helmet:

          It pretty much just sits n the top of your head, with the strap the only thing keeping it on. On the freeway going 75 with a strong headwind, I thought it was going to blow off my head, even with the strap tightened. I wouldn't wear it on a long trip, but it's fine for tooling around town.

          Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
