    The distance between the mirrors on my scoot is 17 1/2. Is that what you mean when you say width 17 & 1/2? I want to assume this is correct but...

      Thank you for your question! The measurement provided would not be for mounting purposes really. It would be for the size of the width for the actual windshield itself. Please let us know if there is anything else we can assist you with.
