Comments about Avon AM42 Venom Reinforced Motorcycle Tire:

I bought it to replace a glazed hard rubber tire that I'd felt slip a time or two, although I didn't know what to attribute it too. An especially uneasy feeling since I'm a relatively new rider.

I really should have replaced the tire when I first got the bike. Feels way more sure footed now.

It's rather easy to find a low mileage older bike down here with lots of thread on the original, but very old tires.

Comments about Avon AM42 Venom Reinforced Motorcycle Tire:

I've been using the Venom X for the last 4-5 tire replacements and keep coming back. They perform excellent on my cruiser, especially when being pushed. Only down side is the rear tends to wear out around 8k miles. As long as they keep making them, I'll keep putting them on.

I need to know the load range, my 1988 Voyager needs a load range C if I can get one. The load range B tires I have been using are a little under the load carrying ability.
