Comments about Bridgestone Exedra G701 OE Motorcycle Tire:

Got 18,000 on original tire and wanted a more agressive tire. Switched to Dunlop and got 8,000 miles. I am now going back to OEM. Doesn't rain much in San Diego, CA. Go for the mileage.

Comments about Bridgestone Exedra G701 OE Motorcycle Tire:

Bought this tire to replace same origional tire. Old tire had good tread left but had some cracks due to age. (was seven years old with over 9,000 mile on it.) Thats why I replaced it with the same Bridestone tire. Great tire!!!

Comments about Bridgestone Exedra G701 OE Motorcycle Tire:

Most of the Valkyrie OEM replacement sized tires I've tried (Dunlop, Metzler) only delivered about 10K miles of wear. Of all the one's I have tried, Avon Venoms delivered the best at 20K+ miles per tire - but these cost over $200 each - very pricey for a motorcycle tire. I was surprized to see Bridgestone had entered into this tire segment. I did a bit of research and couldn't find a bad review of the Excedras (although the name sounds like the headache pill). When I got the tires, I could see that they have the same rugged radial construction of the Venoms, but the Excedra tread pattern has a few more grooves. The Avons always looked like drag slicks to me. I'm hoping that running these the same way I did the Avons (increased tire pressures to 42/45 PSI F/R) that I'll at least get close to the same mileage. Riding season is around the corner and time will tell...

Can the 100/90-19 be used on my 2005 Shadow Spirit 750DC. Stock tire is 110/80-19. Is this a big difference?

Thank you for your question. The difference is the tire is 10mm wider and has a 10mm shorter sidewall. You will need to measure the clearances to determine if the tire will work for your bike. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you by contacting us by email at Sales@bikebandit.com, Live Chat or by phone toll free at 888-339-3888. We are more than happy to help.

My 1994 Suzuki Intruder has currently has Bridge Stone G701 110/90 - 19 inch tire on the front and G702 -19 inch on the back. I would like to know my choices for replacemnt tires with wide white wall good traction on wet and dry roads, nice handling. It does not have to be bridge stone tires. If you could help, I sure would appreicate it.

            Thank You,
            Don Ellis
