Comments about Continental Conti Twinduro TKC80 Motorcycle Tire:
I ride a 2002 Honda xr650l and have used everything from 10% off road to 90% off road tires and found the Conti's to be exactly what I was looking for. They handle good on road and have better wear then the more off road tires (would go through them in about 2000 miles, the Conti's last about 4000 miles or about a full summer). They also work great in the dirt as long as you are not looking for a straight off-road performance tire. These tires handled everything I threw at them on the trails including steep/large hill climbs, mud, hard pack, grassy fields, rocky fire roads, and light sand conditions at high speeds or low. Just put on my third set.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

6000 Miles in Mexico
from Northern UT
These tires took me 6000 miles from northern Utah to south of Mexico City and back. I used them on my '03 650 GS and was very pleased with the ride. I had about about 100 lbs of gear on the bike. Initially they were very squirelly at high speeds (which can be expected) but after a couple hundred miles they rode well and only got better with more mileage.Although there is a slight hum that emits from the tires at speed, it is not extremely loud. These tires saw all types of terrain from smooth highways of the US to beat up roads of Mexico and also a dirt road leading up to a volcano base camp which road normally requires 4 wheel drive. The tires retained great traction though the road was soft and on the return trip it had rained which made it very muddy.Great tire for a dual sport bike.
Great Tire Conti TKC80
I have had three sets of Cont Tkc 80 and are an awesome tire off road and on street. I used then for my Purdoe Bay ride to Alaska this summer and they work great. I travel well over 1,200 miles on dirt and riding the Dalton Hwy I was glad to have them. If you been there you know what I'm talking about. Just purchased my third set and looking forward to my next ride with them. I have to say when your bike is fully loaded and I mean loaded pannier full and two Ortlieb bags full of camping gear and riding BMW R1200 GS Adventure you will wear down set of tires in around 5,000 miles. But the tires handle well on hard pack dirt and loose. On pavement they don't even feel like knobby tires and hold the road well. I say money well spent on these tires if you are serious about Dual Sport riding. I also plan on using them again next summer when I head back to Alaska.
Service and delivery comments:

Great tires for the money
from west central Florida
I've got these on my 84 Yamaha XT600, so far I've ridden the bike over quite a few things one wouldnt normally take their bike over, these tires never once slipped on me. they have a very distinctly dirtbike look to the tread pattern, which offers a VERY good level of traction, and handle well. I'll be able to say better how they handle once I get my front wheel bearings replaced, but I'm VERY impressed with these, and absolutely want another set or two to have on hand. IF you're an adventure lover like me, you'll enjoy these tires every time you go out, almost guaranteed.
