Comments about Dunlop 491 Elite II Motorcycle Tire:

I noticed the direction arrow on this new 491 Dunlop runs the tread pattern in the opposite direction when compared to my old Dunlop I replaced. (direction arrows were followed in both instances) Also, I'm not sure if it's because it's a new tire or it's because of this change in tread direction but my 1982 GL 1100 seems to track better and not be so effected my the irregularities in the road or on lift bridge grating.

Thanks for your question! The MM90-19 is equivalent to a 100/90-19 which would be a little narrower than the OEM tire. Original was 110/90/19. Please feel free to give us a call if you have any questions 1-888-339-3888.

Thank you for your question. The K491 will give you slightly better mileage do to the fact this tire has a higher load index. The tire that can handle the weight has less stress forced on the plies thus lasting longer in life.
