Dunlop American Elite Motorcycle Tire. Dunlop's new, 2nd generation American Elite tires deliver even more mileage for greater all-around performance. This is the only replacement motorcycle tire for Harley-Davidson motorcycles that is designed, tested, and made in America. The tread design provides even tread wear and quiet operation in wet and dry conditions. The American Elite delivers enhanced tire mileage thanks to an MT Multi-Tread rear tire compound that incorporates a long-wearing compound in the center of the tire, along with a lateral-grip compound on each shoulder for great handling. The American Elite sidewall design proudly features the American Elite name and a Made in USA logo. This Dunlop serves as a great alternative to the Dunlop D408F/D407 tires that came as standard equipment on the FL series machines. Now Available in a variety of sizes and sidewall styles, including black, narrow-white-sidewall and wide-white-sidewall.

    Great Tire

Comments about Dunlop American Elite Motorcycle Tire:

I replaced my factory tires with the Elite.. this is an awesome tire.. I get more miles, better ride and it almost completly eliminates the walk and weave effect on groved pavement. Takes a little getting used to in heavy rain but grabs great wet or dry.. over-all a great tire. I got 2500-3500 miles on my factory tires. I got 12000 on my last rear Elite and the front still looks new and I am a very aggrasive rider with burn-out and hard take-offs . I can't say enough about this tire. I ride a 2009 Harley Road King Police with the 103"

True to what they say and price is always reasonable

Comments about Dunlop American Elite Motorcycle Tire:

I posted an earlier review of this tire from the excellent service I got from Biker Bandit and about the first hundred miles on the tire and that we were preparing for a road trip to Arkansas and that I'd give a review after the trip. Well, the American Elite tire performed great on dry roads, in some rain or wet streets with no problems and in the mountains with some great twisty curves in steep roads. I must say I'm really impressed with this tire after our 1000 mi (approx.) trip. Interstates, highways and very curvy and steep roads. The tire always performed well. I would recommend this tire to anyone considering an upgrade from their OEM Dunlop.

Comments about Dunlop American Elite Motorcycle Tire:

I wrote an earlier review after receiving the American Elite direct replacement tire from Bike Bandit so quickly but didn't comment on the feel of the tire till I had a few miles on it. As you all should know, you need to put a few easy miles on any new tire to wear the shiny off. Well I put about 45 easy miles on it and didn't push it in corners or lean hard but now I have 100 miles and can say it corners great in tight turns and rides great on the road. I love this tire and it doesn't follow grooves or "road snakes" in the pavement...something I was watching for. A very comfortable and safe feeling tire and at such a great price as well. YES! I Would Recommend this tire to anyone replacing their OEM Harley Dunlop tire. I will write another review in the later part of this month maybe after our upcoming trip where we will ride around 1000 mi of different road types and some mountain riding. Stay watchful out there.

Comments about Dunlop American Elite Motorcycle Tire:

I installed the American Elites on my 2012 FLHTK. These replaced the OEM Dunlops. What a difference in handling and rideability. The bike rides smoother and corners much better than with the originals. I installed these just prior to leaving for Sturgis. I expect they will wear as good or even better than the ones that came on the bike. I got 15k on those.

            A:

Thanks for your question John! The size conversion on the MH90-21 is 80/90-21 in metric so it would be a bit narrower than the 90/90-21. Please feel free to give us a call if you have any questions 1-888-339-3888.
