Comments about Dunlop D251 Motorcycle Tire:

I've used other tires. I ride quite a bit and typically go through 3 back tires a year. Being heavy on the throttle doesn't help, but thats how I ride. This tire has extended the frequency of changing the back tire. I was going through three back tires for every front tire. Now I'm 2 back tires for every front.

Comments about Dunlop D251 Motorcycle Tire:

These were OEM on my VTX 1800c, Replaced original at 6350 miles, put on the same OE tire. 4500 miles later, am replacing with an Avon Venom AV72. Hoping the longevity is at least as long as an oil change interval.

Thanks for writing into BikeBandit.com. For legal reasons BikeBandit.com does not offer mechanical/technical advice. We do offer repair manuals that may provide the info you need to help you solve your problem. You will need to measure clearances to determine fitment.

            • Q:

Can this Dunlop # 251 motor cycle be acquired in a radial set, as this 'particular' tred really sold me as the one to ride on for rainy black top cond's. to std.pavement (turn-pikes) Wheel size's are 3.50-18 (or 100/90-18) & 170-80-15... Iam using Chromed wire spooked wheels. Also, I'm thinking that I can put a H/D tube in that Radial as well and the two work great together,on that piticular wheel combo Please advise, as I ride on your very word, Thomas, Augusta Kansas. 67010

Thanks for your question! When you order the Dunlop D251 Motorcycle Tire even the OE specific tire that would not have the motorcycle model on the sidewall.
