Comments about Dunlop GT501 Motorcycle Tire:

Sorry BikeBandit I did not buy this rear tire from you. Next time I will but that may not be for a while. 20k for a rear tire, amazing. I've been riding my 83 Goldwing for 11 seasons and have been putting Dunlop 404's on her. I split my rear tire on the way to work so a new bike repair shop in Vermont picked this one for me. The tread is much deeper than the 404's but the ride is smooth as silk. Corners wicked tight too. The tire, installation and a set of brakes only put me back about $240. I like that.

Replaced the rear tire on my 1994 Harley 1200 Sportster. Handles great, nice smooth ride. Hopefully it last longer than the Pirelli I had on it.

Thanks for your question! Unfortunately this would not be recommended to put that tire on the front. If you could give us a call we would be glad to find a suitable replacement.

I'd like to buy this tire to replace a worn front. However, the size I need (130/70/17) is listed as a rear tire. Can and will this affect performance and can this tire fit on a 2005 Kawasaki Mean Streak VN1600B for the front tire?
