Same proven bias-ply construction as the K591, but with a radial-style tread pattern for more contemporary styling and a larger footprint. This is Dunlop's O.E.M. tire for the Kawasaki Ninja 250. Made in the USA.

Comments about Dunlop GT501G Motorcycle Tire:

I'm not an extreme rider but enjoy pushing a little in the twistys. I had the Dunlops installed as replacements (same ones coming off) and rode a bunch miles to scuff them in. During this period I noticed that the CRISP HANDLING is back.

The first set got over 10,000 miles out of them so I'm expecting great service out of these too. I'm looking forward to getting a few more miles on these and then hitting the twistys again on a warm fall afternoon.

Everything you could want from a tire, great all around, definite increase in traction over my previous tire.

Comments about Dunlop GT501G Motorcycle Tire:

Feel better than the stock replacement Battle Axes even using the stock size. I have used the 501's on my Harley for several years (19 front and 18 rear)and gotten great handling and good wear, about 12-14k on rear. Remains to be seen how they do on smaller Ninja 500. Lost 1MM on the rear in first 1200 miles so not as good as expected, but the handling so far is first rate in the twisties. No more difficult to install than any other tire, direction arrow and heavy spot are well marked. Price was very reasonable.
