Comments about Dunlop K70 Vintage Motorcycle Tire:
Was looking for something period correct for my 75 CB750. Also, not looking for a performance tire, just casual riding. I've always been happy with Dunlops, I like the tread pattern, plus read some decent reviews. Just from mounting them I can tell they are a quality tire.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Perfect for Classics
I have a '64 Triumph Bonneville and Dunlop K70s are perfect for that "period look". These were replacements for a previous set of K70s (those were made in Japan). Yes, these are made in Indonesia but I have Michelins made in Thailand too. Go figure. At any rate the price was right and shipping was incredibly fast. The only complaint is with the overall appearance of the tires. I understand appearance is down the list of important tire qualities, but on a classic appearance carries a bit more weight. As mentioned by a previous reviewer there were a lot of "whiskers" left over from the production process. Not just on the tread where they'll quickly get worn off, but along the sidewalls as well. Also there was some kind of residue from production that was almost impossible to clean off. Minor points, true enough, but they might be important to you.
