Looking for substantially better grip and handling? The Q2 has it! Dunlop’s Q2 incorporates race-tested advancements that add up to a vastly superior tire equally at home on the street or the track.

The front and rear tires have a new carcass construction that includes newly-designed continuous hex beads that are both lighter and stronger to enhance steering response in the front tire and increase cornering stability in both tires. Dunlop’s advanced Multi-Tread technology combines the benefits of a tough, long-wearing center compound for increased mileage with a special lateral-grip compound on each shoulder for superior cornering traction.

The rear tire incorporates Dunlop’s Intuitive Response Profile (IRP) technology, giving it a bigger footprint at extreme lean angles allowing higher corner speeds. It also features a newly developed, stiffer version of

Comments about Dunlop Qualifier Sportmax Q2 Motorcycle Tire:

I bought this tire instead of my usual Continental Road Attack 2. I figured that, since it is a sport tire, that it would be more grippy. It was pretty grippy, except when the tire was cold. This is the slickest tire I have ever ridden on in the first 1/2 mile of a ride or so! If the temperature is below 75 degrees Farenheit, forget about cornering hard until you have warmed the tire up for a mile or more. I figured that the wear would be faster than with my typical sport touring tire, but I was really hoping for more than 4.000 miles! I didn't ride any differently than I always have, yet this tire lasted 2,500+ miles less than the Conti! I'm not going to skimp out and buy the $30 cheaper tire ever again...

awesome tires, love the dual compound. Went through almost three rears for the single front, but I ride aggresive. they made my 2006 CBR600 F4i feel like a new bike again, will be getting another set or the Q3's for a few bucks more LOVE MY DUNLOPS!

I wore the center down fast on my rear from wheelies, but that's to be expected. the front is doing great though. I Already bought another Q2 rear I love them.

Comments about Dunlop Qualifier Sportmax Q2 Motorcycle Tire:

The Dunlop Q2's are some of the best tires I've ever ridden on. I've used Pirelli, Continental, Michelin, Shinko - you name it I've used it. This is the best street/track tire for me because it is predictable. No slip in corners, extreme grip when heavy braking, heats up quick and never a single problem - ever. Easy to install, good even wear. I like the Dunlop GP-A's better but they are much softer and don't last as long as the Q2's. The Q2 is the best choice for how I ride and I highly recommend them!

Thanks for your question! This is a higher milage tire but unfortunately Dunlop and other manufacturers never give out milage on their tires. We hear many customer state they get from 5,000-upwards of 10,000 miles. This really depends on riding style, tire pressure maintinance, and how often you ride.

Thanks for your question! The 160/60 will be a little bit shorter than the 160/70. You may be able to use this as long as you have the clearance.
