They say they will not work for my bike!
from Port Land, Oregon
Comments about IRC GP1 Motorcycle Tire:
These tires are so much better than the replacement offered by Honda! They say these skins won't fit my 1971 Honda Trail 90. If your front wheel doesn't have side to side runout and the rear wheel axle is at the mid point of chain adjustment or further rearward, you might be just as happy as I am with my GP1's! The front one is tight, but they work and look great! Wish they came in 2.75" X 17" size, though...
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Very Nice Tire

Great tire on a KLR 250 for commuting and play! Cornering is smooth and confident on the road, gravel grip (slightly lower psi) is excellent, they are quiet too. Haven't had them off-road or wet... yet...I've only got about 300-400 miles on them so I can't speak to the longevity, but they still look new (and sweet!)

I got an IRC on my 1981 DR500 and I don't think you can get much better for the price; [...] I haven't put it through all the tests yet, but so far this tire is feeling like the right choice. Recommend to anyone.

DR500 with IRC tire
Tags: Picture of Product
The IRC GP1's installed easily onto my KLR 650 rims. A light fresh wet snow fell on the first day. The new tires handle and brake well on snow covered grass, dirt roads, and wet pavement. Today the tires performed well on a plowed field, tall grass, highway, and gravel roads. The tires are comfortable, inspire confidence, and provide no surprises. The trends clean themselves quickly thus the tire is able to maintain traction. This is a good all around on/off road tire for the KLR. They grip in soft dry or wet surfaces, and have greatly reduced front vibration at highway speeds.
Service and delivery comments:
I ordered the tires, tubes, and tire irons from BikeBandit becouse when I called their personnel were able to tell me which size tires I should order for my KLR. The IRC size numbering is different from the original tire.
