Comments about Kenda K587 Bearclaw HTR ATV Tire:

I had been looking for new quad tires, I cam across these Kenda bearclaws at a crazy low price. They looked good so I ordered them. They came in in 4 days, put them on and they have been great, being a radial they are smooth ride. Great traction, I don,t need chains on for plowing snow any more.

Comments about Kenda K587 Bearclaw HTR ATV Tire:

I haven't had time for a trail ride with these tires yet, but from what I did up and down the road, I do like them. A word of caution however...they are a true 26" tire. I planned to replace the 25" tires on my 2004 Polaris 600 but mounting them on the stock steel wheels gave me interference issues with the tie rod end, 1" spacer solved that, but the tire rubbed the fender during a turn. I swapped them onto my wifes 2007 machine and although I still needed the spacer, they will work just fine. The newer machine has a bigger fender opening so watch that if you want to put them on the older body style ATV. They were easy to install even though they are an 8 ply tire. Very pleased with the purchase.

            A:

Thanks for your question! We show this is listed as a 8 ply tire. This information can be seen by clicking on the Specs & Options box or you may also see this when using the drop down and selecting a tire size on the product page. Due to this tire being a harder compound than most soft terrain tires the wear life on this is great and is meant to take the power of todays bigger CC ATV's. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you. Thanks for writing in!
