Maxxis' radial construction provides great shock absorption for a smooth ride over desert, dirt and rock terrain. The extra lugs on the shoulder and the tire’s 6-ply rating protect the sidewall and rim. Raised white lettering on 1 side.

Tough traction

By kayakid

Comments about Maxxis M918 Bighorn ATV Tire:

I mounted these on my 2005 Yamaha 450 Kodiak
I have been riding on the rocks, boulders, and packed dirt on Brown Mtn. OHV area in NC.
These tires are great, All the traction I've needed and showing very little wear. The side lugs have helped alot.

Comments about Maxxis M918 Bighorn ATV Tire:

What a great tire.
Very aggresive and gave me more ground clearance.
With the 6-ply no more flats from thorns or stickers that you get in desert driving!!!!!
If you are thinking of a better tire for the price this is it.

Big Horn 1.0, tubless or Tube type?

Thanks for your question. The Bighorns are tubeless tires. They don't recommend putting tubes in them.

  • Q:

My current tire size is 25x11x12. You only have 25x10x12 listed. Will this work on my quad?
Asked on 12/7/2009 by ATPmike from New York

    • CUSTOMER CARE

      A:

Thanks for your question! When you go to a 25x10x12 that tire would be one inch less on the width of the tire, this would work on your machine but this would be the difference in the two.

  • Q:

what width rim should be used with 26-11-14 tire
    Asked on 8/17/2009 by puckpolice

    1 answer

    • CUSTOMER CARE

      A:

Thanks for your question! BikeBandit would not suggest going with a different sizing other than your original stock rim sizing. If you currently run a 26-11-14 tire this would work on your original rim.
