Comments about Maxxis Maxxcross SI M7312 Motorcycle Tire:

Ive been buying maxxis tires for some time now. Just a durable and great tire. I put these on my cr 500, cr 250 and crf 150. The tread lasts a really long time.

Good tread design and delivers good traction. A hair soft of a compound for my liking though.

Great tire/wears on the fast side

Comments about Maxxis Maxxcross SI M7312 Motorcycle Tire:

I have used a lot of tires in racing and riding, and used to be sponsored by Bridgestone. Not really racing much anymore so buying my own parts, so price is a consideration as well as durability. The Maxxis SI is a great tire in all conditions, and is priced right, but wears on the fast side. I don't mind much, as I like the way it hooks up, but if you are on a tight budget and looking for longer wear with great bite, go with the Maxxis IT. While I like the IT, it's a little hard for my normal riding area, so stay with the SI. When I race the selected ISDE qualifier or enduro, I only run the SI, nothing else.

    • Q:

does the maxxis maxxcross come with a rim like in the picture?
      Asked on 1/9/2010 by dbc93

      1 answer

Thanks for your question! Like most other websites, BikeBandit.com must use many general photos for aftermarket parts since we have a limited number of photos from the manufacturers. These pictures may not represent the actual product, as these parts can vary per machine. The Maxxis Maxxcross will just be a tire, the rim is not included.

    • Q:

What size tires are compatable with 3.00 x 12 dirt bike (Rear)?

I need two rear tires. The first size is a 3.00 x 12. It also has 41-M on the side. I don't know what this is for.The Rim size is 1.60x12.
The second one is a 3.00x12. It has 47L on the side. The rim size is 1.85x12. I am looking for a Knobby tire for intermediate dirt. Do you have any suggestions for these tires? I would like to purchase tham as soon as possible. Thank You, John Knuckles
