Both the front and rear tires are DOT-approved, and they have the classic Metzeler tread pattern, so they're great for your motorcycle restoration project.

Comments about Metzeler Unicross Motorcycle Tire:

I've used the Unicross on my XR650R and my DR350. I can't imagine a better tire for a 50/50 mix of dirt and pavement. I love them off road, and on road I can hang with motard riding friends without issue. When pushed to the limit they slide VERY predictably. I'll never run another DS tire. I've tried them all in the past; D606, K270, MT21 etc. The Unicross is in my opinion the best by far.
