Michelin Pilot Road 2 Motorcycle Tire. Until now, you had to make a choice: the grip of a softer tire - or the durability of a harder tire? But thanks to Michelin 2CT dual-compound technology, MICHELIN® Pilot® Road 2 tires offer both grip and durability in one tire. By integrating a soft rubber compound on the tread shoulders with a wear-resistant compound down the middle, Michelin gives you the best of both worlds. The Pilot® Road 2 tire is like two tires in one.

Comments about Michelin Pilot Road 2 Motorcycle Tire:

I was pleasantly surprised to receive a tire with a recent (within 4 months) manufactured date stamped on it. Too often have I seen others end up with old tires when ordering from online stores.

Comments about Michelin Pilot Road 2 Motorcycle Tire:

HUGE upgrade over stock Versys tires.
          Very grippy
          Very stable
Flat-spotted in the middle a little sooner than I was hoping but I (unfortunately) spend most of my miles on the interstate commuting to/from work...not to mention I like hard accels (for a 650).

Comments about Michelin Pilot Road 2 Motorcycle Tire:

I have gotten 12,000 miles so far on my BMW R1100RT. There is some life left in the front tire but it is showing some wear. The back tire looks nearly new. Fantastic Tires! I never felt them slip even in standing water at 60 mph. I will try to get another Pilot Road 2 when this one finally wears out.

Thanks for your question! Yes this would be a good option for your machine. Motorcycle tire manufactures do not make mileage claims so we could not say specifically how long they will last. It is based on conditions and riding style.

We only sell new factory fresh tires. If you do not want the tire you will have up to 30 days to return the tire as long as it has not been mounted.
