Great handling, excellent wear, sticky in the corners...there's not much else to say about these tires. I use them on all 3 of my bikes.

    Great Sport Touring Rubber

Comments about Michelin Pilot Road 3 Motorcycle Tire:

Love the Pilot Road series. I ran a Road3 front and Road4 rear on a trip across the country (Read about it here: http://www.theridingobsession.com/motorcycle-touring/motorcycle-routes/midwest-pacific-northwest-sport-tour-motorcycle-trip/. They made it all the 6k+miles. The front lasted the rest of the season, almost 10k and I just got another for this upcoming season. Nice turn in, great longevity, and great grip wet and dry.

Mileage doesn't match the reviews I read

    By MikeM

    from Kansas

Comments about Michelin Pilot Road 3 Motorcycle Tire:

Purchased a set of PR3's before taking a trip September 2014 on my 09 Concours. Rode from Kansas to southern California, then rode Highway 1 up into Canada, then back to Kansas through Idaho, Montana South Dakota and Nebraska. Did almost 7,000 miles. Rear tire is worn more than the front but both are close to the wear bars. No way I'm going to get 10 to 12 thousand miles. No complaints about grip or handling, but would like to know the secret to getting 12k miles on a set of PR3's

Thanks for your question! This is a dual compound tire, harder in the midddle for longevity and softer on the shoulders for grip. Normally it is recommended to stick with the same styel and brand tire for front and rear. Please let us know if there is anything else we can assist you with.

With the exception of the front 110/80-19, all are W rated, which is speeds up to 168 mph. (the 110/80-19 is a V rating, speeds up to 149 mph.)
