Michelin Reggae Scooter Tire. Original equipment tire for Yamaha's Zuma. Michelin's massive tread blocks and all-weather tread compound work great on or off the road use. Transverse grooves widen toward the outside of the tire for better dispersal of dirt and mud.

Comments about Michelin Reggae Scooter Tire:

A big difference in hard pack, dirt and gravel traction over the Cheng Shins from the factory. A much improved "bolted down" feeling.

Comments about Michelin Reggae Scooter Tire:

I ride a Honda Helix, which is murder on rear tires. I installed a Pirelli when I bought the bike and less than 3,000 miles later it was shot. Not only that but the traction was marginal. Therefore I have upgraded to the Reggae. The difference is phenomenal. This tire digs. It truly can be used off road. Granted my Helix only sees the occasional gravel spot, but when it does it grabs. And, there is no more flat spotting or wobble like I got with the Pirreli. I rode the scoot on a 100 mile trip at 70-75 mph and it never missed a beat. Keep in mind that any dual sport tire will make noise. I'll gladly take some noise to know my rear end will remain planted when I need it to be. I have no idea how long it will last. I ordered the tire on 8-29. It supposedly was in stock. It shipped from another location on 9-11 and I had it 9-17. That's not real great for an "in stock" part. I see they are now on back order.

Comments about Michelin Reggae Scooter Tire:

Live in st. Augustine FL, ride in the beach all the time, these tires get me out there without getting stuck in the sand! As 130/90R10 they stand a lil taller than 120/90R10s which helps in the sand. They are great on the street as well and seem to increase my Zuma's top speed. I was recommended these tires and I would recommend them as well!

Comments about Michelin Reggae Scooter Tire:

Roommate and Co-Worker's Zuma's needed tires, both within 2 weeks of each other, and so I recommended the 'Reggae'.
I'm a long-time Michelin rider, as the T63 is my favorite Dual-Sport tire, and this little 10' Reggae Scoot tire certainly performed well!

It installed in 10-15 minutes, and the nicely formed lug pattern rolls well on the street. Further, the tread was 'aggressive' and confidence-inspiring enough that I got both my roommate and co-worker, who are new riders, to come ride a Mini-bike track with my TTR on their Zumas'. That's Good stuff!

We took a Reggae rear that was going off one of the bikes, which had (it seemed) 6000 miles on it, and I've attached a picture to show how well it was wearing! (We're thinking maybe only 50% done!)

          I recommend this product!

Thanks for your question! The Michelin Reggae Scooter Tire would not fit a 3.00 x 10 application but is available in two tire sizes. The tire sizes are (Metric)120/90-10 =(Inch) 4.25/4.50-10 and (Metric)130/90-10 =(Inch)5.00/5.10-10.

            Tread depth

How deep is the tread on this particular tire. I am looking for a replacement for a Honda EZ90 rear tire and having a hard time. Do you have other ideas or options. Thanks in advance.
