Pirelli's Diablo Rosso II is the sportiest and most versatile road-oriented tire of the Rosso Generation. This supersport radial is perfect for all riding conditions, including the wet. It features a tri-zone dual compound rear, and the Diablo Rosso II has a high-grip compound on the shoulders and a wet / mileage compound in the center. The tire's grip is enhanced even further by EPT (Enhanced Patch Technology), a technology developed in the World Superbike, and a maximum contact patch area is due in part to an ICS (Integrated Contour Shaping) technology, complimenting handling and power of today’s modern motorcycles.

Comments about Pirelli Diablo Rosso II Motorcycle Tire:

I have used these tires for one track day last October (last one of my season at Texas World Speedway, College Station, Texas) and 4000+ miles since. Very predictable feeling tire with excellent outright traction and handling right up to the edge. I will probably swap them out before starting the trackday season this year and be seeing how far they will go. They have also proven exemplary as a daily-driver's tire.

The rear wears more quickly than the front, which I expect from a liter-bike. Flat spotting is noticed after a couple hundred miles on a fully loaded weekend outing involving primarily straight-line highway riding. But it does go away after a little play time in the corners.

The wet-weather testing on this tire is somewhat limited as Texas has been experiencing a drought until very recently. (Yay for rainy February!) But I have come to conclude that the wet performance is at least as good as I have ever experienced with another street tire. But with MONTHS between wet rides, it is hard to be certain.

Bottom line: this tire won't disappoint.

Comments about Pirelli Diablo Rosso II Motorcycle Tire:

I have waited to review this tire until I had some miles on it. Well I now have 2K miles and I am in love with it. It corners and holds the road great. I have been in wet and dry conditions and have not had any bad feelings with it. From the moment I installed this tire I was able to feel the difference. I am waiting for my back tire to wear out so I can have a matched set. I will purchase this tire again and again.

Comments about Pirelli Diablo Rosso II Motorcycle Tire:

I purchased these tires after having my BT003 for a while. In comparison the Pirelli feel super stable in the corners but not as easily flickable as the BT. So far I expect these tires to wear at a reasonable pace and last about 4-6k miles for the rear.
